Interview by Raven Starr

Go check out my interview with Raven Starr.

Here's a portion:

Yup here's this hot new author Cassie Exline...
Check her out.

1.)With the countless number of interview questions let's try something different. Tell us something about yourself that hasn't been previously stated. I was very close to becoming a wedding photographer, but I got hired at the newspaper.

2.)How long have you been writing? It seems like forever, but it's actually been since was I was in grade school. I used to fill up the tablets the school gave us with my stories. Wished I'd kept them.

Thunder storms & thoughts of murder?

It's been a long night or is it a short night?? Hmmmm anyway, at midnight I was awakened to the pitter patter of rain. awwww relaxing. At two o'clock I was awakened by the pounding of rain, blowing of wind, flashing of lightening, and rumbling of thunder.

Snuggling under my covers with all intents of returning to dreamland, I was soon to be annoyed by the snoring of my hubby. Thoughts of smothering him with a pillow danced through my head.

But we all know it's just plain tacky to smother anyone before having a cup of coffee. After all I was raised right.

So I got up and put on the coffee and got a shower. Cleaniness is good.

Then I curled up on the sofa, sipped my brew, and watched Poker After Dark. I so enjoy educational TV. It's good for a person to learn as much as possible.

Bottoms up!

Dark Eden Press

Tree of Buried Secrets now available at Dark Eden Press

Julia races to their rendezvous site as if the devil is nipping at her heels. Tonight she and Alex are going to elope. Her heart soars when she spots Alex waiting for her by the apple tree.

Instead of fleeing, Alex wants to make love to her one more time at the same spot where they met, fell in love, and surrendered to their desires.

The white blossoms serve as their bed, and the tree as a witness. A thunderous crack shatters the night, spawning years of torment, generations of secrets. Julia never told anyone what happened that night, but today might be the day she confesses.

From the book......

Alex whispered, "Stand up."

I did as he requested. Alex unbuttoned my skirt, pulled down the zipper, gave it a tug and let go. It puddled at my feet. I stepped out of the skirt and he tossed it on top of my other garments. I trembled and kicked off my shoes.

With his hands on my waist, he pulled me close to him, kissing my middle. His mouth moved down the flat of my stomach. His breath almost seared my skin going through the garter belt and panties I wore.

He kissed the bare skin between the garters and carefully unhooked each fastener on my nylons. When he was done, he rolled down the stockings, kissing my bared legs as he went, before tugging them off of my feet.

His hands massaged both of my legs from the ankles up to my hips. Hooking his thumbs into the waistband of my panties, he pulled down, taking the garter belt with them. I stood naked before him.

His thick calloused fingers parted my silky passage and his tongue entered. His thumb rubbed my love-button and I opened my legs wide, silently begging him to enter deep while his tongue made love to me.

Reviews for Tree of Buried Secrets

Dark Diva Reviews say, "This is a beautiful story of love, murder, and secrets. At first it was a little hard to follow but once you get the flow, it’s ok. The description is very well done. Bring you right into the book. I have to admit after reading the first couple chapters I saw part of the ending coming, but part was also a great twist."

The Long And Short Of It says, "Tree of Buried Secrets is an interesting story that moves back and forth between present and past. ...... For the most part, the questions that continually surface keep this story moving along at a fast pace. .... Tree of Buried Secrets is a tribute to the idea of “one true love,“ reminding us that even the march of time and messy family secrets cannot change the most powerful memories of all.
